Join us for a tour of the new Navy Federal Credit Union campus projects. The tour will review energy efficiency measures at four new buildings, including the Central Energy Plant. The tour will discuss the process for gaining LEED Gold certification, as well as measures in place for acoustic, interiors, architecture, and construction considerations. AIA EXTRA: GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEERING 101
Join us for a presentation from Mitchell L. Smith, P.E., principal geotechnical engineer at Tierra, Inc. The course is an overview of geotechnical engineering and gives an overview of different types of soil exploration, testing, and evaluations. It will address common subsurface challenges in our local area and alternatives to manage them.
