FEBRUARY CE LUNCHES
Structural Mulling for Fenestration
This course covers types and styles of structural reinforcement and mulling within the fenestration industry. It covers testing for monumental openings, window grades and associated performance required to meet design pressures by zone. It illustrates through details and photography different ways of achieving this, as well as the shop drawing process for submittal review.
1. Learn about product performance and how windows are rated in the fenestration industry.
2. Understand design criteria and the importance of component cladding and engineering.
3. Review details and pictures of different types of structural mulls: factory and field assembly, as well as techniques.
4. Compare different levels of shop drawings, from basic details and elevations, to performance requirements and installation methods
