Join AIA Florida Northwest for a meet-up in celebration of Women’s History Month. We will be discussing the first episode of the New Angle: Voice podcast by the Beverly Willis Architecture Foundation, about the work of Julia Morgan.  

Morgan was the first female student admitted to the architecture program at the Ecole des Beaux Arts and the first female architect licensed in California. She is most well-known for her work on the Hearst Castle, although she designed over 700 buildings during her career. The AIA posthumously awarded her the AIA Gold Medal in 2014, making her the first woman to receive the honor. You can read more about her here.
