Every year, Florida architects visit lawmakers and policymakers in their offices in Tallahassee to advocate for issues, pass out AIA Florida posters and make connections that will improve the practice of architecture in the state. Your involvement is critical to the success of AIA Florida's advocacy efforts. Make plans to join us at the Capitol on Jan. 23.

5 p.m. - Student Reception at AIA Florida Headquarters located at 104 E. Jefferson St., Tallahassee, FL

January 23, 2024

9 - 10 a.m. - Legislative Day Briefing at Sittig Hall located at 301 South Bronough Street on top of the Kleman Plaza Parking Garage

10:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. - Legislative Day Visits and War Room open. Information about making appointments will be sent closer to the event.

5 - 6:30 p.m. - Legislative Day Reception at AIA Florida Headquarters located at 104 E Jefferson St.

A block of rooms is available at $209 per night at the Hampton Inn & Suites Tallahassee Capitol - University located at 824 Railroad Avenue, Tallahassee, FL 32310. The block is available until January 5, 2024 or until it sells out. Legislative Day will be during session. Hotel rooms are hard to find in Tallahassee during session. Book your room today.
